Why did I do this???

Yesterday was an unusual day. I shaved my head...I don't know why I did it but I did. I was just sitting there about to give my self a normal trim, when I put the #2 blade on and just took a chunk out of the top. There was no going back from there. I don't really like it all that much but oh well, it will grow back. Well, that's the update from here.

School has been a ridiculous amount of work and I've encountered a lot of little problems all over the place. One good thing is I got all the documents done that needed to be done for my application to the University of San Francisco. So hopefully everything gets there and nothing gets lost in the mail.

Let me know what you think about me shaving my head. Don't lie and say you like if you don't and be nice...I already don't like it, so don't make me like it less.

Back to Hawaii...

So it's true, I'm back in Hawaii for yet another semester of school. I am not the biggest fan of school but something cool about this semester is...it's my last semester as an undergraduate. I will be graduating from the University of Hawaii in December. I am excited about that. I arrived late last night and was immediately greeted by the Hawaiian humidity.

Anyways I start school tomorrow and this upcoming week is going to be stressful. I have to figure out application stuff for Grad school, I have to move into a new place, I need to buy all my books, I need to get my new computer, I need to start all the school work, and my moped needs to be fixed.

Even with all that, it is good to be back in paradise. I miss all of you back home but I won't be gone that long. Make sure to keep in touch and God Bless.

Graduate School??? Masters Degree???

Today I started the process of applying for graduate school, yeah I know, kinda crazy. I'm still not sure if this is what I want to do but it is an exciting idea. I would attend the University of San Francisco starting in January. I would be working toward a masters degree in Sports Management. I have always wanted to do something in sports so this may be my opportunity. There are a few setbacks and problems. I have to get a lot of application stuff done by September 1st and the degree may cost over $36,000. That is way to much for me. So as I go back to Hawaii this Saturday, try and figure out my last semester, figure out what I'm going to do after I graduate, and start the Arizona Video...keep me in your prayers, I have a lot to think about.

Thanks and God Bless

The Oakland Zoo

Well, yesterday I went to the Oakland Zoo with Josh, Nate, Matt, Kori, Elise, and Miriam. It was a random group but very fun. First off we bought this really cool plastic key to listen to the little talking boxes by each animal, I was so excited, but it didn't even work on the first few and the funny thing is Nate decided to give it to a little kid so we didn't even really use it. We were a little slow due to someone with a fragile body. I ended up giving Kori a piggyback ride around a lot of the park because she jacked her ankles on a trampoline and walking down stairs. It was probably the farthest I've ever carried someone of my back. But anyways we saw monkeys...or wait, were they APES!!! Nate and Matt turned into monkeys with their mating calls and the elephants were MIA when we finally got to the exhibit. The highlight had to be the sky-ride, lol, we went so fast, well maybe not, but we did get to see the mystery animals in the back. I don't know if they were the rejects or there just wasn't a place for them to be. Nate and I also played "what would the worst place to fall off this ride be?" We both agreed falling into the Lion's Den or on the corner of the barbed wire fence wouldn't feel very good.Overall the trip was a lot of fun and a little bit of my childhood came back.

A fun filled day

Today was a good day or I guess since I'm writing this at 1:00 am yesterday was a good day. It all started with an amazing breakfast at Teagans house for her surprise birthday. The coffee cake was great but I think the small group of VBCers there ate it all before any of her school friends got any. I blame Deej, Kori and myself but mainly Kori. We were hungry, what can I say.

Anyways after that I had a chill day of hanging out with friends and relaxing. I also had a softball game at 6:30 and it was a great game. It was officially my retirement game from pitching and I am glad I'm done with it. I'm just not a big fan of balls wizzing by my head and feeling like I'm gonna die. I did make a handful of plays on the mound that earned me a nickname from the other team. They were having a huge debate about what the actual name of Mr. Fantastic was from the Fantastic Four. They were calling me Elastic Man and Mr. Stretch. It made me laugh a little hearing 40 year old men debate about a comic book character. But in the end we won and for maybe the first time in VBC softball history we are undefeated in a league. The final score was something like 17-6.

Following the game I was blessed by an amazing meal cooked by Andrew, Mandie, and Tony. We will miss you Andrew, enjoy Phoenix. It consisted of juicy steak, some fresh veggi's, some rice like thing I can't think of the name, stuffed mushrooms and HUGE pieces of bread. This was a perfect way to end the night before going to see the Bourne Ultimatum.

The Bourne Ultimatum was an amazing movie that I recommend everyone should go and see. I do however recommend that you see the first two before seeing this one. The car chase scenes are sick, watch out for that roof, it's a high one, Jason Bourne is just sick, there is an amazing plot and I was very impressed at how the movie ended and tied all three movies together. My mouth dropped more then once and thats saying a lot. Go see it, its Amazing!!!
